“91% of Death Valley National Park is designated wilderness, preserving opportunities to experience solitude, natural quiet, dark night skies, and wild nature. With solitude comes isolation. You MUST be self-reliant for your own safety. You can get to the vast wilderness along hundreds of miles of unpaved roads, but your vehicle must stay on the road.”
